Synopsis
Dante is a kind-hearted but somewhat naive school bus driver who transports a group of mentally handicapped children, often feeling as though he is missing out on life and love. His routine is disrupted when he is nearly hit by a car driven by Maria, who quickly shows interest in him. Invited to her luxurious villa in Palermo, Dante is unaware that this is part of a scheme. He bears a striking resemblance to Maria's informant gangster husband, and it would be beneficial for them if the mobster—disguised as Dante—were to be seen as dead and buried.
