Josh Kirby: Time Warrior! Chap. 5: Journey to the Magic Cavern
Synopsis
Josh and his friends, having previously saved numerous time-twisted worlds, now find themselves deep within the center of the Earth, in a cavern inhabited by mushroom-like beings known as the 'Shrooms. During their arrival, Azabeth accidentally causes harm when she mistakes one of the taller 'Shrooms for a delicacy from her home planet and takes a large bite, which results in her being poisoned and left weak and disoriented. With Azabeth in danger, Josh, along with Irwin, Prism, and their new companion Porcini, an Italian 'Shroom, must embark on a perilous quest to find a cure for the mushroom disease. Their journey through the dark and treacherous caverns will not be easy, especially as they must travel to Nightmare Hollow, a forbidden and particularly dangerous area. It is there that they will uncover the history of time and face their most terrifying adversary yet: the Muncher.
