Synopsis
This made-for-TV film adaptation borrows the title and basic premise of Jules Verne's novel but reimagines the journey as being undertaken in an earth-penetrating machine. A planned television series was intended to follow the film, though it was never produced. The cast features John Neville, F. Murray Abraham, and Kim Miyori.
