Synopsis

Judith Kemp has become a lone fighter since the death of her husband. As a single mother of two children and an aspiring star lawyer in a large corporate law firm, Judith manages her job and family. Inevitably, someone often falls by the wayside: their children Julia and Marco, their friend and pediatrician Susanne Blau, and their boss Stefan Walther, who wants to promote Judith to partner not only in the office. Only her job as a lawyer for the economic bosses is rarely neglected—until Judith meets little Eva Traber: her father has run away and does not pay a single euro in maintenance, her mother Helena can no longer get her debts under control despite several jobs. The three children are often left on their own and grow up in poverty. Judith's sense of justice does not leave her alone: she makes Eva's case hers. As her child advocate, she fights with full commitment for the rights of the girl and her siblings. So begins a fight.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 19

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
