Juliette's Winning Hand
Synopsis
Juliette is a nine-year-old girl who uses a wheelchair and views life as a card game. She believes her father left her mother, Sandrine, after she was diagnosed with myopathy as a child. When Juliette and her mother move into a new house, she takes it upon herself to find Sandrine a new partner. Juliette chooses the writer living next door for the role. However, the writer is an unwilling participant who dislikes children, and his brother is both Sandrine's employer and landlord, as well as someone who desires more than just her gratitude.
