Kebab Connection
Synopsis
Ibrahim “Ibo” Secmez, a Hamburg resident of Turkish descent, intends to direct Germany’s first kung‑fu film but currently produces commercials for his uncle’s kebab restaurant. His German girlfriend, the aspiring actress Titzie, discovers she is pregnant; Ibo feels uncertain about becoming a father, especially after his own father disowned him for impregnating a German woman, leading Titzie to send him away. As the birth approaches, Ibo remains unprepared despite attempts to improve his situation. Meanwhile, three thugs search for good tripe soup, and a rivalry develops between the kebab shop and a Greek taverna across the street.
