A kind-hearted student's love for a devoted Communist League member turns chaotic when a wealthy rival plots to kidnap her and force her into marriage.
Synopsis
Shurik, a kind but naïve ethnography student, falls in love with Nina, an intelligent, athletic, and beautiful member of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League. His affection for her is complicated by the presence of Saakhov, a wealthy comrade who becomes his rival and devises a kidnapping scheme in an attempt to force Nina into marriage with him.
