Synopsis
A Soviet newsreel directed by Dziga Vertov, covering the Trial of the Socialist Revolutionaries, the rebuilding of the destroyed Siberian village of Taseevo, the railroad station Sljudjanka, abandoned mica pits near Lake Baikal, the Soči health resort, Chudjakovskij-Park, a beach near Tuapse, the loading of silk, Afghanistan and Kabul, the peacetime use of tanks, a mountain road, and a chapel in the Caucasus.
