Synopsis
KISS fans are often divided into two main groups. One group consists of purists who support the original lineup—Paul, Gene, Ace, and Peter—and may or may not accept subsequent lineups, often emphasizing their preference for the original when discussing the band. The other group supports the best available musicians performing alongside Paul and Gene. This group was reportedly dissatisfied with the 1996 Reunion, as the Revenge lineup was considered musically strong and vibrant.
