Synopsis
A chess grandmaster is competing in a major tournament when his lover is discovered with her body painted and all the blood drained from it, making him a prime suspect. After receiving a call from the killer challenging him to solve the game, he works with the police and a psychologist to help catch the murderer. However, questions about the grandmaster's innocence persist as a series of brutal killings continues.
