Krazha
Synopsis
Set in Washington, DC, *Theft* centers on Howard Knox, a well-intentioned Congressman advocating for reform. He is preparing to deliver a speech that will reveal the corrupt dealings of industrialist Anthony Starkweather and his congressional allies. Starkweather, along with his son-in-law and political ally, Senator Thomas Chalmers, seeks to prevent Knox's speech and ruin him publicly. Adding complexity to the situation is Margaret Chalmers, Senator Chalmers' wife and Starkweather's daughter, who develops a friendship with Knox and gradually comes to support his cause.
