Krzysztof Kieslowski: A Masterclass for Young Directors
Synopsis
This reference presents highlights from a workshop for young directors led by Polish filmmaker Krzysztof Kieślowski (1941–1996), held in Amsterdam during the summer of 1994. The focus of the workshop was the direction of actors, and it included interviews with Kieślowski. Over the course of two weeks, participants worked in groups daily on a scene from Ingmar Bergman's film *Scenes from a Marriage*.
