Kukkulan kuningas
Synopsis
It is Christmas Eve in Helsinki, and young taxi driver Samu is working to avoid spending the holiday with his fiancé and their baby. At the airport, he picks up a compelling customer: Hans, a Finnish mercenary who has returned to Helsinki after 20 years away. Hans hires Samu for a mission—to find Laura, the daughter of his recently deceased best friend and fellow soldier. Their search takes them through the snowy city, revisiting places and people from Hans's past. As Samu observes Hans confronting his history, he begins to see his own future more clearly. By the end of their journey, both men's lives are profoundly changed.
