L'arte della commedia
Synopsis
Oreste Campese is the head of a traveling acting troupe composed of his family, who find themselves in the middle of winter in an unnamed town in central Italy. In the prologue, Campese recounts the events that led to their current situation: the troupe has endured the misfortune of losing their "shed," a mobile theater structure that was destroyed in an accidental fire. The fire left only the boxes of props and costumes intact, which were fortunately saved.
