Synopsis
In July 2010, Laurent Fignon, the renowned cycling legend, provided commentary on the Tour de France. Despite having incurable cancer, the two-time 1980s Tour winner followed the race day by day as a reporter. His doctor accompanied him during the tour to provide medical treatment. Initially meeting with mutual disdain, the two men gradually developed greater understanding for each other as the race progressed. For Laurent, completing the tour symbolized affirming life, even though the demands of broadcasting reduced the likelihood of a successful life-prolonging therapy.
