Synopsis
Élise Lafontaine follows a quiet routine, waving every morning and evening at the express train that passes her house. One day, she discovers a letter from the train conductor in her garden, disrupting her solitary life. The two begin an anonymous correspondence through poetic and thoughtful letters, sharing glimpses of their lives. However, when the train line is permanently rerouted for a more direct path to Paris, Élise refuses to let go of her daily ritual. Determined to find the conductor, she embarks on a bold journey beyond her comfort zone.
