In Chamonix, birthplace of mountaineering triumphs and tragedies, two young alpinists, Lucien and Guillaume, set out to achieve the unprecedented: linking in a single push the seven sacred Virgin statues that crown the Mont-Blanc massif. Their journey soon becomes more than a climbing challenge. Forgotten photographs and traces of legendary guide Alphonse Couttet reveal that these Madonnas may hold secrets reaching far beyond the summits. Crossing three nations, the pair embark on a quest that intertwines adventure with heritage, uncovering an ancient wisdom shared by generations of mountaineers. La Madone is both a physical odyssey and a reflection on legacy, faith, and the challenges of our time.
