Synopsis

Megan, a 28-year-old who is overeducated and underemployed, is experiencing a quarterlife crisis. Despite being firmly in adulthood, she lacks career prospects, has little motivation to think about her future, and feels disconnected from others. Comfortable in her position of falling slightly behind, Megan watches as her friends achieve milestones and embrace their adult lives. When her high-school sweetheart proposes, she panics and takes the opportunity to escape for a week, hiding out at the home of her new friend Annika, a 16-year-old, and Annika's world-weary single father, Craig.
