Landslide

Manhattan firefighter Mark Decker visits Steven, his son, at his ex-girlfriend Emma's new apartment, which is located in one of her father Donald Richardson's development estates at the base of Diamand-back Mountain. Donald's ambitious executive, Stewart Hancock, who aspires to start his own firm, has been compromising safety standards in pursuit of efficiency, leading to a landslide. Mark becomes trapped in the building along with Steven and the new concierge, Harold, who is aware of another emerging threat: rattlesnakes that have been prematurely roused from hibernation. During the ordeal, Mark realizes that Steven, an artistic and nerdy teenager, only engaged in "manly" city activities to spend time with his father, as such moments are infrequent. As they struggle to survive, landscape architect Emma uncovers the truth behind the disaster and works to thwart Stewart's plan to conceal the problem.
