Synopsis
Lapland Odyssey is a comedy centered on Janne, a man from Lapland in northern Finland who has built a career on living off welfare. His girlfriend, Inari, is frustrated by Janne's inability to take control of his life, particularly his failure to purchase a digital TV box that she had paid for. She gives him an ultimatum: a box must arrive by dawn or she will leave him. Janne then sets out into the night with his two friends in search of the box. As they travel toward the city of Rovaniemi, Janne and his friends encounter numerous challenges, obstacles, and temptations. They come to realize the importance of being bold and not giving in to bitterness. Ultimately, they learn that the journey itself is more significant than achieving success.
