Late Marriage

Zaza is a 31-year-old Israeli bachelor who is handsome and intelligent. His family, particularly his parents Yasha and Lily, want to see him married. According to tradition, Zaza must choose a young virgin who is beautiful, from a good family, and ideally wealthy. His parents take him to meet potential brides and their families, and Zaza goes along with the process, despite having no real choice in the matter. He plays along with his family, who uphold the strict traditions of their Georgian Jewish heritage. However, Zaza consistently manages to avoid becoming engaged. What his parents do not know is that Zaza is already in love with Judith, a sensuous, strong, and intriguing woman who is a divorcée and the mother of a six-year-old daughter. He has kept Judith a secret from his family, and now faces a difficult decision: to honor the strict expectations of his family and tradition, or to follow his heart and be with the woman he loves.
