Les Années Perdues
Synopsis
For Marie Launey, the nightmare begins when her mother, Catherine, is discovered with a weapon in her hand near her father Jean's corpse. The police have no doubt: due to her Alzheimer's, Catherine killed Jean in a fit of jealousy. Marie, however, is convinced of her mother's innocence, though her sister Juliette reminds her that her years of absence may cloud her judgment. Who is their uncle Daniel, recently returned from Brazil and now being confused by their mother with her late husband? Jean, who worked as a painting restorer, had recently analyzed "The Deposition of Christ," a canvas later revealed to be a copy. Had he uncovered a ring of forgers?
