Synopsis
Thomas, newly engaged, meets his future father-in-law, Gilbert, who has been married for 30 years to Suzanne. Gilbert, disillusioned, believes his marriage has caused him to miss out on life. He convinces Thomas not to marry his daughter, Lola, and urges him to abandon other aspects of his life as well. The two men then embark on a new life filled with adventure, convinced that true freedom lies elsewhere. But what is the cost of rediscovering one's adolescent dreams?
