Synopsis
The *Lipsett Diaries* is a portrayal of the intense emotional turmoil experienced by Arthur Lipsett, a renowned Canadian experimental filmmaker who died at the age of 49. The film transforms a diary into a collision of images and sounds, tracing a frenzied creative process and depicting an artist's spiraling descent into depression and mental instability. Through this work, Theodore Ushev refines his filmmaking style and examines the relationship between genius and madness.
