Synopsis
Set in Vienna in the 1930s, the story follows the renowned and attractive writer Albert Rank, who receives a letter from a stranger. The letter reveals that the sender, Rose, has devoted her entire life to an intense and unrequited love for him. In her letter, Rose recounts various moments of their encounters throughout the years. From childhood, she has been obsessively in love with Albert and has remained fixated on him throughout her life. Despite these interactions, Albert never recognized her, even though their shared moments were meaningful. As an adult, Rose finds her love for Albert increasingly unbearable, leading to tragic consequences.
