Synopsis
In a seasonal special, Gordon Buchanan explores the lives of animals that inhabit nature's winter wonderlands. He examines their survival strategies, including the polar bear mother who ensures her cubs have the best start in life, the owl that hunts prey hidden under snow, and the resilient penguins that huddle together for warmth. Gordon also looks at the lives of familiar Christmas figures, such as the reindeer and the robin redbreast.
