Lindsay Lohan's Indian Journey
Synopsis
Actress Lindsay Lohan travels to India to investigate the issue of child trafficking. As the capital, Delhi, prepares to host the Commonwealth Games, she speaks with young boys recently rescued from factories in the slums. Upon learning that many of the children were sent away with traffickers by their own parents, Lohan sets out to understand the reasons behind this. In West Bengal, parents, child victims, and a former trafficker share their stories, revealing the desperate poverty that fuels the trade in children. As India's economy experiences growth, Lohan explores what can be done to stop the abuse.
