Lizzie and Sarah
Synopsis
Lizzie and Sarah are two middle-aged suburban housewives in their fifties, enduring lives marked by neglect and mistreatment from their selfish and unaffectionate husbands. Their primary source of fulfillment comes from participating in The Borking Players, a local amateur dramatic society. After a tragic accident results in the death of a well-liked local teenager, tensions in the community rise. Following a disappointing birthday lunch for Sarah, the two friends impulsively decide to go on a shopping trip. As the day progresses, they discover an opportunity to enact revenge.
