Synopsis
The film *Story of the Tampico Stogies* follows a struggling minor-league baseball team from the lower rungs of the baseball ladder and its standout player and manager, Stud' Cantrell, as they fight for the league championship. Set against the backdrop of the racially and politically turbulent American South, the story unfolds amid themes of corruption and prejudice, highlighting the challenges the team faces both on and off the field.
