Synopsis
*Lord of the Dance*, filmed at the Point Theatre in Dublin, elevates Irish dancing to new and spectacular levels. The production features original music composed by Ronan Hardiman and orchestrated by Anne Dudley, who also conducted the score. The performance showcases Michael Flatley in a starring role, with supporting performances by Bernadette Flynn, Daire Nolan, Gillian Norris, Helen Egan, and Anne Buckley. The show presents a reimagined version of Irish folk legend, blending traditional elements with a modern and dazzling style. The narrative follows a time when the stories were already written and the roles were known, but the ancient clans, gathered in their stone circles, sensed a disturbance in the spirits' dreams. A new and dark power has risen to challenge the Lord of the Dance.
