Synopsis
Watty Watts, a small‑time criminal, tries to rob a convenience store with his drug‑addicted associate Billy Mack Black. The robbery results in murder, after which Watty abandons Billy and flees with his girlfriend Starlene. As the pair head toward Mexico, they attract extensive media attention while additional pursuers close in. The story follows whether Watty and Starlene can reach the border without being captured.
