Synopsis
In Seoul, Republic of Korea, a young couple faces neglect charges after their infant daughter dies in 2010, allegedly due to their excessive engagement in an online fantasy game, which led to Internet addiction and neglect of their child. The documentary *Love Child* chronicles the trial and the court's ruling, which established a significant global precedent in an era where virtual experiences increasingly influence real-life responsibilities and outcomes.
