Love in Another Language
Synopsis
Onur, who has been deaf since birth, works as a librarian. His father left him and his mother when he was seven, and Onur has always blamed himself for this. Although he is able to speak, he has chosen to remain silent due to the pitying looks he receives from those around him. At his friend Vedat's engagement party, he meets Zeynep, who later discovers about Onur's hearing disability but is not bothered by it. Zeynep is forced by her overbearing father to leave home and takes a job at a call center. Spending her days speaking on the phone to strangers, Zeynep finds peace with Onur, with whom she communicates perfectly without speaking.
