Synopsis
A literary critic experiences heartbreak after a bitter divorce and channels his despair into creative work, only to meet an enchanting woman who challenges his newfound cynicism. Marc Marronnier believes his marriage is going well until his wife calls him immature and leaves him for a high‑profile writer. Devastated, he pours his heartache into a misanthropic manuscript that denounces the virtues of true love. Later, Marc falls deeply for his cousin’s radiant and gorgeous wife, upending his entire life. Louise Bourgoin and Gaspard Proust star in a film directed by actor‑author Frederic Beigbeder.
