Synopsis

Leon Mortier, a wealthy publisher, is driving through the forest when he stops to see Lulu walking along a long, narrow road. She enters his car. Leon finds her amusing and intriguing. As he begins to drive away, a man suddenly appears in front of the car, and Leon accidentally runs him over. Leon decides to take both Lulu and the injured man home to recover. He falls deeply in love with Lulu, and both she and the man remain in his house. Lulu's behavior is erratic, and Leon grows suspicious and paranoid. When he begins to suspect that his friends are being unfaithful with Lulu, he organizes a dinner party with some of his closest friends, intending to confront them and cut them out of his life alongside Lulu. However, when he discovers his son in Lulu's arms, he resolves to get rid of her as well, a plan that ultimately backfires in an unexpected way.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 13

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
