Synopsis

Nola Devlin is a low-key, plain magazine editor who is often ignored and mocked by her colleagues. However, when she is behind the privacy of her computer screen, she transforms into the well-known advice columnist Belinda Apple. Nola’s friends, frustrated with being overworked and overweight, form the Cinderella Pact, pledging to lose weight by following Belinda Apple’s advice. When Nola’s secret identity is at risk, she is compelled to follow the guidance of her alter ego. As the group of friends shed dress sizes, their deeper personal issues come to light, and unexpected positive changes in their lives begin to emerge.
