Synopsis

In 11th-century Scotland, warlord Macbeth, though brave and bold, is also weak and hesitant. Influenced by a twisted prophecy from three witches and the ruthless ambition of his wife, he betrays his king and fellow warriors. As he ascends to power through treachery, Macbeth descends into a cycle of bloodshed, crime, and growing suspicion, with no path back.
