Synopsis
In *Macbeth*, the title character and his wife plot to murder King Duncan in order to seize the throne, but their regicide sparks a cycle of violence that escalates beyond their control. As Macbeth becomes increasingly paranoid and ruthless, he commits further atrocities to secure his power, all while supernatural forces—particularly the witches' prophecies—play a key role in his downfall. The guilt and chaos that follow ultimately lead to the collapse of both Macbeth and his wife.
