Synopsis
Matt becomes infatuated with Casey, the new girl at school. She is playful and unconventional, yet there is an underlying darkness to her whimsy that Matt fails to understand. After Casey tries to take her own life, her parents admit her to a mental institution. Matt rescues her and the two young lovers embark on a road trip, convinced that their love can "cure" Casey's struggles. As the journey continues, Matt begins to question whether their actions are driven by inspiration or misguided idealism.
