Synopsis
Émile Cohl combines live-action and stop-motion animation in this whimsical depiction of the power of imagination. A magician transforms his cane into a hoop with unusual properties for a young girl. Costume changes and city walks gradually give way to increasing abstraction as the film becomes more focused on what happens within the ring.
