Maman(s)
Synopsis
Aida is an 8-year-old girl living in an apartment in a Parisian suburb. Her life and that of her family are disrupted when her father returns from Senegal, their country of origin. He does not come back alone, bringing with him the young Senegalese woman Rama, whom he presents as his second wife. Aida notices her mother's distress and, moved by it, decides to take action to remove the new arrival from their home.
