Man of Iron
Synopsis
In 1980 Warsaw, the Communist Party dispatches dissatisfied radio reporter Winkel to Gdańsk to investigate the shipyard strikers, focusing on Maciek Tomczyk, an independent labour union leader whose father was killed in the December 1970 protests. While posing as sympathetic, Winkel interviews individuals connected to Tomczyk, including his detained wife, Agnieszka.
