Synopsis
A man named Milan arrives by train in a small French village, where he plans to rob the local bank. While waiting for the right moment, he meets M. Manesquier, an elderly retired poetry teacher. The two form an unusual friendship and begin to imagine living each other's lives, contemplating the paths not taken.
