Marina
Synopsis
In 1948 Italy, Rocco grows up in Calabria until his father Salvatore decides to move to Belgium to work in coal mines and earn a substantial income. Shortly thereafter Salvatore arranges for the family’s relocation, making Rocco an overnight migrant with all associated consequences. Seeking purpose and wanting to resemble his peers, Rocco pursues music and love despite his father's wishes and better judgment.
