Masters of the Universe

Prince Adam, destined to become the mighty He-Man, must embrace his inner strength and confront the evil Skeletor to save Eternia, but his journey is complicated by a fractured world where heroism and identity collide.

Synopsis

Daniel Pemberton, known for avoiding franchise films and sequels, joined the new 'Masters of the Universe' project only if he could craft a Queen and ABBA-inspired score. Director Travis Knight shared the same vision, making the collaboration possible. Pemberton's unique approach included using Brian May's iconic Red Special guitar to help shape the film's 'unashamedly fun' theme. The composer's creative process highlights his commitment to blending nostalgic and energetic musical elements for the film's soundtrack.
