Synopsis
Basil Brookes becomes financial director of "Captain Bob," a position that brings him into close proximity with press mogul Robert Maxwell. During his tenure, Brookes observes Maxwell's financial maneuverings as he competes with fellow media mogul Rupert Murdoch. Maxwell's career is marked by increasing financial instability, alongside personal turmoil in his marital life.
