Synopsis
Evelyn “Miss Maybelline” Williams, an aging beauty and socialite whose legacy helped inspire the iconic cosmetics brand, crosses paths with Danie King, an eccentric, openly gay skin-care scientist. Their unlikely encounter transforms both their lives. Evelyn clings to glamour and relevance as time and gossip close in, while Danie lives flamboyantly, rejecting social convention in pursuit of creative freedom. In a conservative Southern town, their connection becomes an act of defiance—celebrating beauty, queerness, and the power of reinvention.
