McBride: The Doctor Is Out... Really Out
Synopsis
In this episode, McBride's client is betrayed during a custody case by his psychiatrist. The client later tells McBride that he believes he accidentally shot the doctor after confronting him at his home. When McBride arrives at the murder scene, the doctor is, as the title suggests, out — meaning he is missing. A search for the body begins, with time being a critical factor. David Bowe delivers a pleasant comic performance as the anxious client. Former child star Sydney Penny appears as one of the suspects and has grown into a striking young woman. Soap opera actor John Ingle plays the bewildered head of the hospital.
