Synopsis

Lou Clark, a 26-year-old from the English countryside who lacks direction, accepts employment at a local castle as caregiver and companion to Will Traynor, a wealthy young banker. Will, confined to a wheelchair after an accident two years earlier, has become disengaged from life; Lou seeks to demonstrate that life remains worthwhile for him.
