Merlin and the Dragons
Synopsis
A young King Arthur is awakened from his sleep by troubling dreams about a boy who becomes king after pulling a sword from a stone. He seeks guidance from Merlin, who begins telling a story of his own, about a young boy named Emrys who possesses unusual abilities and experiences visions. The boy is feared by his village, which regards him as a demon. King Vortigern arrives and compels the village to construct a tower for him, but the tower collapses. Vortigern's wizards advise him to find the demon boy and sacrifice him by spilling his blood on the ground. When the boy is brought before Vortigern, he foretells the presence of a pool of water beneath the castle's foundation, which is causing its instability. The workers discover the pool and two unusual stones, from which two creatures emerge: a white dragon and a red dragon.
